Tanzania is the largest country in the East Africa region with abundant natural resources that include among others, land, wild animals, beautiful beaches, the highest single standing mountain in the world and an abundance of minerals.
Tanzania is a land rich in minerals. Mining makes up more than 50% of the country’s total exports of which a large part comes from gold. Tanzania has some of the largest gold deposits and gold is found almost in the entire country. In the southern part of the country you will find the Chunya gold fields, in the North you will find the North Mara gold fields, the Geita gold fields, and the Bulyankulu gold mines. In Tabora area you have the Buzwagi and Acacia gold fields. Throughout the entire country you will find small scale miners busy mining and trading in gold and other minerals.
Gold mining in Tanzania is undertaken by three groups namely Large, medium and small scale mining. Large scale mining companies like Geita Gold Mine, Barrick’s Bulyankulu, North Mara, and many others. GOLDEXT project falls within the medium scale mining companies group. Although GOLDEXT project is a new comer in this group, they have been able to provide employment to many young people and in the next six months they should be able to pay taxes to government and thus contributing to the national building effort. Our Social responsibility policy is firm and covers the area in which they operate. GOLDEXT project cover the education sector, the health sector, and social sector equally.
GOLDEXT project is operating in the Geita gold fields where two large companies ie, GGM which produces 534.6 thousand ounces per annum and Bulyankulu mining company which is the second largest company. GOLDEXT project operate in an area between these two giant gold companies and their prospects are very very high. With the attention of investors that GOLDEXT project is receiving at the moment their investors are guaranteed of very high returns on their investments in a short period of time.
